Thanks to the power of WebLegalAI's artificial intelligence, a new LAUYAN SOFTWARE service, you can now generate all the essential legal documents for your website in just a few minutes and at a lower cost!

Mandatory Legal Documents

By law, every website must include at least:

  • Privacy Policy : Mandatory if you collect personal data (even through a simple contact form).
  • Cookie Policy : Required if your site uses cookies (including those from Google Analytics).
  • Terms of Use : Essential to govern the use of your site.
  • General Terms and Conditions of Sale : Essential for any e-commerce site.

Without these documents, you risk fines, disputes with your customers, or even the suspension of your site.

How to add your legal documents to your website?

Once your documents are generated on WebLegalAI, you have 3 methods to integrate them into your site:

Method 1 : Direct link to the WebLegalAI page

  Simple and fast
  -    Less flexible (changes not possible without going back to WebLegalAI)

  1. Copy the URL of your document (e.g., https://weblegal.ai/documents/xxxxxxxxxx/)
  2. Add this link to the footer of your site and to your forms.

In addition to being very quick to integrate, this method is particularly suitable if your site or blog has only one page, such as a landing page created with PageXL.

Method 2 : PDF Export

 Viewable offline
  -   Less convenient for updates

  1. Click the "Print" button located in the bottom of your WebLegalAI document page.
  2. Select "Save as PDF" in your web browser's print options.
  3. Upload the PDF to your website.

Method 3 : Copy and Paste

Fully customizable and editable at any time

  1. Click the Copy button in your WebLegalAI document to copy the content to HTML or to plain text, depending on your needs and the website creation software you use.
  2. Paste the content into a new page of your website dedicated to your legal document.
  3. For TOWeb users:
  • If you have version 13, you can Copy HTML content into the paragraphs of your sections. For versions 12 and lower, you will need to Copy to plain text and then adjust the formatting as desired (such as adjusting the styles of headings and subheadings, making important words bold, ...).
  • If your document relates to your site's "terms of use," since this page already exists by default on all TOWeb sites (located last in your list of sections), you will need to paste it into this page.
  • For all other legal documents (meaning your site's cookie policy, privacy policy and terms of sale), you will need to create a dedicated page each time, containing a single paragraph into which you will paste the content from each of your WebLegalAI documents.
  • If you add a dedicated "user consent to personal data" page to your site, remember to select it in the "Options > Cookies & Privacy" screen of TOWeb, so that it can be automatically reused wherever necessary on your site (forms, cookie banners, ...).
  • From the "Topics" step, add links your site's footer of all the pages containing your legal documents. Depending on the number of your documents and the content already present in your page footer, you may need to readjust its layout and number of columns. In such a case, this will need to be done from the "Theme" step.
  • Finally, make sure that each legal topics you have created in TOWeb is using the "Disable search engine indexing for this topic" option.

Once your legal pages are created, you can then make any adjustments you deem necessary. For example, if you don't want your email address to be displayed in your legal documents, you can replace it with a link to your site's contact form.
